The Man behind the dream

Who owns LYNXjet?

The reclusive billionaire philanthropist William Suzuki-Smith, age and location unknown.

Who is he?

A very rich guy. He made his money in the wild rubber plantations of Borneo, capitalizing on one of the great inventions of the twentieth century, the rubber flip-flop.

How he made his first million

Seeing the potential for this brilliant, yet simply designed footwear, he invested heavily in rubber factories throughout South East Asia. Then, years later, the humble flip-flop somehow made it onto a Paris catwalk and suddenly, “thongs” were “in”.

The rubber flip-flop boom changed fashion as we know it, with everyone from homeless people to Royalty wearing his amazing product.

Where is he now?

Now retired on one of his private islands, he remains extremely private and only accepts visitors once a year, on his birthday.

His mission

Suzuki-Smith’s dream is to spread love, adventure and pleasure where possible.
